By way of derogation, students and employees who live, work or go to school in South Limburg can register for a test via GGD Zuid-Limburg, telephone number 088-8805005.

The area of ​​GGD Zuid-Limburg stretches from Maastricht to Kerkrade and from Eijsden-Margraten to Sittard-Geleen. The GGD South Limburg test location is at Hotel van der Valk in Urmond. Testing is only possible by appointment. For example, GGD Zuid-Limburg has a faster view of the number of employees and students tested at both locations, both positive and negative. This different procedure does not apply to employees and students from North and Central Limburg. The former national procedure applies to them.

Contact school after positive test result of employee or student

If an employee or student has tested positive for the coronavirus, the GGD will contact the school management. The GGD discusses the measures to be taken, depending on the risk of infection. The GGD itself informs those who have been in close contact with the positively tested employee or apprentice and coordinates other communication with the school management.
