Students between 11,5 and 18 years old who have not yet mastered the Dutch language well enough to follow regular education can register at Novo College throughout the school year.
Novo College is a school for boys and girls who are busy learning the Dutch language and becoming acquainted with Dutch culture. You come to this school to prepare yourself to continue into regular education, vocational education, the Dutch citizenship course or work. You are allowed to attend our school for a maximum of two years, but this depends on how long you have already been in the Netherlands.
When you register to attend Novo College you will be invited for an interview, along with a parent, caretaker or legal guardian. You must definitely bring:
Passport/ID
Visa
Copy of papers issued by the IND
Copy of papers issued by the military police (Marechaussee)
If you still live in an AZC you must definitely bring:
Passport/ID
Copy of papers issued by the IND
Your COA Registration form
